Information for the Artists
- All flight expenses will be covered by Air Air.
- A material stipend will be provided (amount TBD).
- RT flight will provide approximately 10-12 hours for creating, including layovers and connections.
- Artists have between 12-18 hours to complete work and prep for install once back on the ground.
- Artists will provide Air Air a head shot, images of recent work and a brief bio.
- Artists are asked to donate 1 item (depending on the medium) to Air Air at the end of the residency for future fundraising efforts and documentation.
- Air Air asks artists to document their experience and process while in-flight, as an opportunity for partners and viewers to participate in real time.
- Total time for the entire residency experience is approximately 48 hours.
- Artist is responsible for travel to and from the departure airport / destination.
